Ok, I'm feeling immensely silly and guilty about this, but I *always* wanted to practice Dragon Breeding for Pleasure and Profit...

*makes pathetic puppy eyes*

ETA: My first beloved egg is cured from its sickness! Yay! *parades around again*
ETA 2: OMG, they're starting to crack! *is very excited*

*snicker*

I just want to try and turn this egg into a dragon (first time I try, myself - apparently, people clicking on the eggs helps with that). And because it's so totally HP OT, I at least thought I should throw in Hagrid's manual for Norbert ;).

Thanks! I want the first one godparented exclusively by my f-list, but if the other ones lag behind, I'll take them there ;).

It is addictive... I'm even trying to create new sprites myself now. It's harder than it looks like.

Hee! It;s addictive, aint it? If you want to join a comm to get more clicka nd such, I can suggest that you be invited to [livejournal.com profile] dragcave_eggs - it's run by a friend of mine and kept smallish so we can actually put it on our flists without getting 500 posts a day jamming them up :).

Addictive for sure! I'm not yet sure whether it'll occupy me beyond the first few days, so... can I crawl back to you an beg for that invitation when the eggs do decide to take over my brain? ;)

Um... remember when I said I wanted to wait if dragoning would bloom into an obsession? Well, I'm afraid it did... is the offer about the comm invite still open? *ducks*

So, I clicked on this one too or is it the same. Hopefully you will like your dragon.
The only thing that concerns me is that every time I click on it and get transferred to the website my computer's spy ware defenses act up and tell me that this site is known to harbor spy ware. Might want to check your computer for it. just saying...

Hm... none of my spyware scanners ever piped up, and at least one of them is very good. That said, there *was* a tracking cookie, but I thought it had been there before I discovered the site...

Could you do me a favour? Can you tell me which spyware scanner of yours is bringing it up, and what exactly the message says that you get? I'll dump it on the site forums then, and point out there might be a problem.

As for the egg, I have three, and alternated them to give them all a bit of spotlight. One got too much too quickly and got sick, but has recovered now :).

Okay I am using Webroot Spy Sweeper -- paid version ;-).
And on the computer in the bedroom the warning did not show up -- weird I know. In the living room it did. Makes me wonder lol.
I send it from over there then -- when I get back on it lol.

You enabler! You got me totally addicted. Share a link to your scroll, please. I want to see what these eggs of yours grow into!

And OMG, I thought Dragon Breeding for Pleasure and Profit was the name of the site and used it, OMG I'm stupid :( But it's so much better than Dragoncave.

I'm here. Do you think the green egg is the same breed? If so, I suppose it will be the smallest lizard-like green dragon.

My second egg died 'cos it got too many views and clicks in too short a time. I was very sad.

I already have a list of names prepared for when the hatch AND mature enough to see their sex :)

Wheee, I'm blaming my flist for hooking me too ;). And I'm pretty sure that out green eggs are the same. Are the rest of yours suffering from 'too-much-attention' sickness, or are you trying to ward that off beforehand? My fist developed that too.

And I did see your name on the forums last night, and had to grin *so* much! I'm here.

Thanks, I've bookmarked your scroll :)

They all got sick 'cos I posted them and went to yoga, not having thought that 2K f-of list would give them a lot of views, considering flist refreshings, in the two hours I was offline. One of them even died. I was very sad! So I hid them in fog for a day, and now they are ok again. I think I'll post them with my upcoming post for an hour or so and see how it goes. If it's too much for them, I'll edit the post to remove them.

Btw, I believe your new egg is sick (if it is. Is it why you're hiding it?) not because of too much exposure but too few views in comparison to clicks. Adding it to this post for a while would cure it.

But by god! It's soooooo addictive. I'm playing like a child, with total abandon :D

Yes, I'm so glad I posted first egg on Saturday and pretty much was around it all day, so I noticed the sickness quickly enough. It's so sad to see one die!

The hidden egg is my experimental one - I'll unhide it two days or a bit more before dying, and see if I can get it to hatch in short time. Cruel, I know, but I'm very curious about the mechanisms behind this.

But by god! It's soooooo addictive. I'm playing like a child, with total abandon :D
Me too - I sat at work wondering what my eggs were doing :).
